Narissa Fell is a former Dance Works student dancing for the past twenty-three years. As a sophomore in High School, Narissa attended Governor’s School of Arts for Dance in Erie, PA. She continued her education at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and in 2008, received her BA in Dance from DeSales University. While in college, Narissa had the opportunity to work with teachers Ronen Koresh, Molly Misgalla, Tara Madsen, and guest artists Nicole Wolcott, J.T. Jenkins, and Kathleen Jewett of Shen Wei Dance Arts. Narissa was a former dancer for the entertainment shows at Dorney Park and performed, choreographed and taught in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. She also attended Surfscape Contemporary Dance Theatre Summer Intensive in Daytona, Florida. Narissa has been a member of CoExist Dance Co. and Philadelphia Fight “Vixen” Dance Team. Currently, she is continuing her third year with Project Moshen Dance Company, Jazz based company in Philly, and continues to perform and choreograph with LVDE (Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange). Narissa has worked with various Guest Artists/Choreographers such as Samuel Reyes and Eric Bean Jr., both from Koresh Dance Company. She continues to grow as a dancer and artist taking various classes/workshops in Philadelphia and NYC. Since 2006, Narissa has been teaching dance at various studios throughout the Bucks County. She has taught a variety of summer camps, workshops, and master classes including MarDelDance Youth, Palisades Elementary School, and CoEXISTdance Summer Intensive. She has also choreographed various dance routines for Methacton High School Dance Team and current Dance Team Coach for Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC). This coming fall, Narissa will be teaching a “Dance Fusion” course at LCCC. Along with performing and teaching, Narissa is also an independent/freelance choreographer presenting work throughout the dance community. Narissa’s love and passion for the art of dance is ever-growing and hopes to keep spreading her enthusiasm in dance throughout years to come!
